This album was made in honor of several important individuals I lost over the past year. Each piece reflects on their lives, the feelings that came with their passing, and the thankfulness I felt for their time here on Earth.

I decided to have each piece be solo electric guitar without any overdubs because I loved the intimate and contemplative space I could achieve with just one instrument. The effects pedals I used throughout the album served as a way to expand that sonic palette while still retaining the essence of that single instrument. I also wanted to express the interest in minimalist, ambient, and contemporary music I've found as of late.

Although some songs are more aggressive than others, the goal of this album is to express the process of remembrance one experiences during these times and to celebrate the lives of those that have gone before us.
